Re: Keep burning up "hd" f&r switches
Uh-oh, I see OEM 6g main battery to solenoid cable and stock solenoid.
Big tires added weight of rear seat...... is this cart for off road or hilly use? |

No just used around the house. The biggest hills are maybe 3 feet.

Re: Keep burning up "hd" f&r switches
You should be fine with my HD EZ575 F&R, it's a cut above the switches you have been having trouble with..... no trailer towing is there?

Re: Keep burning up "hd" f&r switches
Heck no. But I do plan on upgrading to 48 sometime and I figured since we emailed, I would just order that reverse contactor heavy duty kit so I don't have to later. Think the wife will be happier then too. She does a lot of slow speed riding with my son and I thought that could be part of the problem

Re: Keep burning up "hd" f&r switches
Lots of low speed driving is what is burning up the F&R switches - let her know & ask her to belt the boy in and mix up the speed a little - he will love the wind on his face.
The way it is wired is fine, won't run any cooler any other way. |

Re: Keep burning up "hd" f&r switches
Ok. Will your super duty reverse contactor kits be fine with low speed driving or is there anything that would help that?
