Question Cart just stopped

EZGO 36 V Golf Cart (2001)
While riding, it just suddenly stopped and will not run
Also, no lights, no horn (the battery meter does light and the reverse warning does sound, other than that, no power)

When I press the pedal, I hear one click and that's all.

Already:
replaced batteries
replaced solenoid
visually checked fuses

I will get a volt meter and play with that, but wondering if anyone had any ideas.

Thank you.

What was the battery pack voltage when the cart stopped. Solenoid clicks+ no go indicates a throttle signal or high amperage problem.
Were you driving on the street or off road when it quit?
On full charge ? On a low charge?

OEM type controller? What speed control?

Interesting (to me) ... when I plugged in the charger, it is showing a very low battery level ... and now the cart buzzes (like in reverse) when I plug in the battery charger ... yikes ... also, I thought I heard noises in the charger so I unplugged it ... tomorrow I will see if there may be a problem with the charger and maybe the batteries are just low ... (I'm also getting a volt meter) ... arg ...

note: I was driving on the street when it just stopped .. not sure the OEM type controller or what speed control ... I will look when it is daylight again ...

thanks for the queries.

This is what the s4rial number returns on the EZGO site:
Make: TXT
Type: Electric 36 V
Model: TXT with Lights (PDS)
Year: 2001

EZGO had a nasty habit of tapping two of the six 6V batteries in the 36V battery pack for 12V accessories. If that unsound practice hasn't been corrected with a 36V to 12V voltage reducer or dedicated 12V accessory battery, I suspect one or both of the two batteries used to power the 12V stuff has failed, or is failing under load.

What is the battery pack voltage?
What are the individual battery voltages?

check for a broken motor wire, pull on them, due to the way the cart just failed al of a sudden, wont explain why no lights, but could be the running issue

When I had the battery charger hooked up. all the lights work (incl brake lights). So the wiring should be fine.

My battery charger took a dump ... it doesn't even 'hum' anymore ... good grief ... I will see if I can repair or maybe find a used one ....

oh fine ... I borrowed a battery charger and it does not hum either ... so it is not the charger after all ... I'm gonna cry ...
My volt meter only shows 2 volts per battery ... but the golf cart meter shows full (the one near the key switch (dash) ...
