Default Loosing speed

I have a 07 txt with the dash switch its 36 volt. Last 2 days just loses power out of nowhere. Cart gets used a lot and has never done anything like this before. Batteries are 2 years old and well maintained.

Same cart as in this thread? http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...2211-beep.html

As stated in post #2 on that thread, it is likely the controller is getting hot and cutting back to protect itself. People in the business say it will only do this a limited number of times and then it will give up all together.
An aftermarket controller such as Alltrax will give you better torque, increased speed, be reliable and cost significantly less than a OEM replacement. The OEM solenoid won't tolerate this forever either. Both are pretty much plug n play if you have basic skills.

The 23" tires are too large for your original controller and other electricals. The stock drive system was designed for 19" tires. If you want to keep using those 23" tires, be prepared to buy a new higher powered controller and solenoid at the very least. Or go back to 19" tires fast, while your controller is not fully toasted... yet!

I have an 09 36 volt TXT PDS and I recently installed a Alltrax 500 amp controller and a 400 amp solenoid from Scotty B. My cart also has 23" tires and since the upgrade it is a beast. I also installed 2 gauge cables and after a full charge will top out at 30 MPH. Any Alltrax upgrade will help you. Cheers!
