Default Charging outside

Anyone every leave their cart on the charger when you leave the campground til you come back next time? We have a shed I could leave the charger in but I’m worried f we get a heavy rain and I’m not there that water could get into the charging receptacle on the cart while it’s plugged in and short something out. Tia.

I always have my cart plugged in. The charger is under the camper where it's dry. As far as rain on the connector, in five years, I've never had a problem with my carts. Not much rain seems to hit it.

I have the charger plugged in all the time. Also keep Charger under the trailer were it is dry. I do keep a little film on dielectric grease on the plug. Have had no problem.

Leave mine pluged in at campground under an EZ up. Been left for weeks, never an issue.
Do you have on board charger under seat that’s protected. If remote charger would make sure it is covered from elements.😊

I have my charger in my shed and made a small notch at the bottom of the door for the cord.
