Converting 36 volt txt to 48 volt charger question
I plan on getting new batteries and a new controller and motor, new hd f&w switch and new solenoid and 4 gauge wires. Since I’m replacing all of those, I’m thinking of converting my 1999 36 volt series txt to 48 volt. I have access to a 48 volt txt charger with the triangle plug. If I buy the triangle receptacle, how does it wire into the cart? I know where the positive and negative wires belong, but what about the other wires? Is this possible? Hope it doesn’t sound too stupid.
Thanks |

Re: Converting 36 volt txt to 48 volt charger question
If the charger is a Delta-q QE or SC-48, a triangle charger port is required to do the conversion.
I suppose you could cheat the temp sensor input to trick the charger into working with a 10k resistor from the green wire to the black wire in the charger handle. |
