LOL, I can sympathize with you; had all those things happen to mine at one time or another. It sounds like at least one of your microswitches is not working, maybe the one on the pedal. Or maybe someone bypassed it. If you look at the 3 diagrams I posted, you can see what is supposed to be there. I would bet yours is missing some of them.

Default Re: 1984 ezgo marathon resistor questions

I found the solution to the problems with my resistor cart. It is a 3wheeler and looked like the other resistor carts. But it was a 74 model. The wiring is slightly different. I found an old wiring diagram, and all the wires fell in place, the cart runs well. I'm posting the diagram here, and it might be something to be put up in the stickies if someone could do that.
