Default Can I use a 36 volt solenoid with 48 Volt

I currently have a 400 amp Alltrax SR controller running 36 volts on my 1991 EZGO Marathon if I used another battery set too up it too 48 Volts is it possible to leave the key circuit 36 volts for the solenoid and use 48 Volts for the motor I currently have it wired up exactly like the attached drawing
