Default Ezgo pc-956

I purchased a 1996 6 passenger cart with the model number PC-956. I'm not able to find much information about it. The engine has burned up in it and I took it to a repair shop. He has been unable to find a replacement or parts to rebuild it. The manufacturer's code is D1096 and the serial number is UL16989. It has a replacement motor in it and that number is 5BC58JBS6179-LR3.0. Anyone have an idea where I could find parts?

This might help.

The LR3.0 suffix makes me suspect it is a EMP motor. (Lightening Redesign) http://empinc.biz/

Ok, EMP is Electrical Motor Products, Inc. out of Ft. Wayne, IN. Has anyone had any dealings with them? On August 1 I sent then the completed Customer Questionnaire from their website. About two weeks later I sent an email to the email address listed on their "Contact Us" page. I've never had a reply to either one so this morning I called the telephone number listed and the recording said to leave my name and number, which I did. No reply to that either! Are they still in business?
