91 EZGO Marathon will not go forward or reverse
Everything else is working except it wont go and reverse buzzer is not working. It was working both directions except occasionally while driving, it would stop accelerating until you lifted your foot off the pedal and put it back down. Charged it up one night and when I got in I depressed the accelerator and it lurched forward and never moved again.
There is no click when the pedal is depressed Reading at receptacle is 38.0v Not sure where to start. |

seeing as you do not have the solenoid CLICKING, you need to start with the solenoid activation circuit.

Ok it's clicking now, the solenoid, in both forward and reverse, but the acceleration is intermittent. It will be driving on a straight and level path in forward and the acceleration will fail and you will have to release the pedal and depress it again to keep it moving. If you keep it depressed, the cart will drift to a stop. Same happens in reverse.
What should I check next? |

I think the micro switch on the potentiometer is failing.....

The picture below shows the potentiometer with the micro switch in the yellow circle.

I've never seen one live. Is it wire-wound? Is it round or linear?
