Default removing govner on g1

Can anyone tell me how to remove the governor on a g1 golf cart? i have removed it on my g8 but im not to sure how to do it it on my g1.

thanks a lot pics were great i was just wondering what cable you hooked up the one straight from the peddle and then to the hom made braket with your new spring location thanks again

Hi Lady Bug I used the same cable straight from the pedal just rearranged it a little so that it is more towards that side of the cart just keep it away from the belt.

i forgot to also ask you about the exhaust valve that is located off the governor linkage right? and if so i would need to do something with that if i bypassed the governor ?

You will need to wire it wide open or take it out completely and weld the holes up. If you don't secure it somehow, it will flop shut and you will lose power.
