Totally agreed with this idea. CG knows what he is talking about !! You got a good deal on those batteries. Be sure to keep them fully charged at all times for best life. Ray

Ok, I have installed and charged the batteries. I went for a 15 min ride and now should I put the charger back on or drive it some more then charge it?

Simple rule of thumb -
"If it's parked, it's plugged"

After the light stops blinking and is a solid green if I disconnect for about 1 min then plug back in it will start blinking again for a while. If I do this more than once am I risking the batteries being overcharged or is this what new batteries do because they are new?

Basically you are doing a "equalization charge", helps to keep batts balanced. Good idea every so often, not all the time.
