95 ezgo txt controller smoked
ok guys, trying to help a friend. he has a 95 ezgo txt that he converted from 36v to 48v. has an all sport lift 22" tires, 200amp solenoid, had a used 400amp dcx alltrax controller, and a D&D 8.3hp motor. the controller smoked on him. brought it to me and I turned the key on put it in reverse pushed the pedal and sure enough the controller started smoking. before he puts another alltrax 400amp in we need to solve what happened. did a continuity check on the motor and its fine. thanks for the help

Use a 500DXC and be sure to program it for that motor on 48v - different field map than the same motor on 36v.
