The other option would be discharge the two with higher voltage batteries down to match the lower voltage ones. |

Re: buying batteries this week
Hey, thats a nice deal. I have had a few gassers (my preference), but, my only electric was ran only on used batts, chasing the weakest out with a better used battery. I have/had no intentions of buying Any new batteries, the used ones gave me the range i needed for 2 days use if that was my only option (cart was parked outside & my Dpi wasnt gonna be plugged in & rain drenched even if the cart was). Having used battery options is a good thing. I have seen it done, but mixing new & used batts sucks, for the batteries & the wallet. Most cart places will let you pick from their used "cores" if you deal with them nicely (and have cores to exchange + a couple $). I actually keep the best used batts "off to the side" to keep the "for sale" used cars going until they are sold (usually with new batteries), i also try to help the "off-griders", as they dont require "super-awesome-new" batts in their generally large packs of "good-enough" batteries. I like to send the true junk to the core pile when possible. I used a "10-led" meter, and a digital volt meter both in the dash before i ever even heard of ScottyBs popular meter. Having both was a easy inicator of a individual battery going south ("10 led bar" led meter is handy for a healthy pack, but low readings on the volt meter when at full load is a sure sign that one batt is going out, plus when you loan the cart to others who dont care about the voltmeter).

I would have preferred to buy all new batterys...but the pocketbook wouldnt allow it.I plan to buy 2 a month till all new.Plan on keeping the good old ones to.Never know when a cart deal can happen.

Re: buying batteries this week
Battery place is gonna hit ya for a hefty core fee for no return batts ($20-30 per battery is typical).

Re: buying batteries this week
Agree with cgtech on that one...we charge 20 bux more per battery if no core is brought in...Make sure the used batteries are worth holding on to.
