2007 president headlight problem
So I just got a Madjax basic headlight kit and installed it just like the instructions said and they don't work. The cart comes pre-wired for a light kit. It came with a little harness that hooks up behind the dash and the in comes with a wire that hooks to the blue wire under the seat and then goes to the pos post on battery #4. I get nothing when I try to turn the lights on. Does anyone know what could be wrong with it?

Did it have a voltage reducer with it? 16v to 12v.

Re: 2007 president headlight problem
The 4-12v system that comes pre-wired does not call for one

If I can't figure it out I will be on the phone with Madjax in the am to troubleshoot the issue.

Re: 2007 president headlight problem
The only other thing I can think of is make sure the bulbs didn't get blown because the blue wire might have got hooked up in the wrong place.

Re: 2007 president headlight problem
I have a 48volt 4x12 07 precident club car with what looks like a factory wired light kit, and I cannot find a voltage regulator anywhere. The light kit is powered off the #4 battery pos terminal. I want to add a 12 volt power port for charging cell phone and would like to do the simplest wiring possible can I just tie to back side of the two wire off/on switch for power and back to battery negative. Maybe add a inline fuse.
Also why Is my light kit not tied to the off/on switch. It is very easy to forget to turn off the lights. |
