Default 1984 club car fuel problem

I have a 1984 club car, the fuel pump went out. They stopped making the electric fuel pump, so I got a vaccum fuel pump. The problem is I can't find a
source for the vaccum. There is a plate with a hose connected to it that run to the back of the air filter, just below the carb, I connected the vaccum side of the pump to it, but it doesn't provide enough vaccum. would appreciate any help.

You need to connect the vacuum hose to the nipple in the front of the block, below the air filter. If your cart came with an electric pump I'm not sure what that nipple is used for. I'll get you a photo.

This is where the fuel pump gets its vacuum signal from.

I don't have that vaccum plate. but there is a place for one, except its plugged and there is no way to bolt a plate. I'm thinking that I would have to drill a hole it the plug and then drill holes and tap them for bolts. here's some pics I took

Yeah that's probably what you'd have to do. I might have an extra one of those plates with the hose nipple on it in my parts bin.
