Default 2002 Club Car ds 13.5 mph sound right?

New to me Series cart.

6" lift. 23" tires. Rear seat. Windshield. Clay basket.

500 amp Flight Systems controller. Upgraded wires and Solenoid.

Does 13.5 sound right? Controller has 3 adjustments. Could one of these be adjusted to speed up the cart?

Thinking about a Bandit or D&D to speed things up a bit.

If it has the factory motor in it I'm not surprised at the slow speed. I'm assuming it's a series cart (Lever operated F&R Switch). If so, that's about average. A high speed motor would definitely wake it up. With a 500 amp controller, I hope you've upgraded all of your cables and your F&R switch.

Series cart. Yes, everything is upgraded except the stock motor. Plenty of speed in the woods which is really what I use it for mostly. Probably will probably upgrade the motor after turkey season.

With the Bandit at $225 and the others at $5-600, i assume the others are must faster options?

There's nothing wrong with a Bandit. There's a huge cost difference because when you buy a Bandit you're buying an upgrade to your existing motor. You're not actually purchasing a motor.

PQ did not have a core and I did not feel like being without my cart in the middle of turkey season. So I ordered a Beast motor from GolfCartKing for $510 shipped. Got it in 2 days and just put it in. I'm running 20-21 on flat ground with a 6" lift and 23" tires. Very happy with the torque and the speed.

I still think I'll send the old motor to PQ and have them build a similar motor as the Beast just in case.
