What motor is it? Figure it can't be stock with a 700 amp controller. If it's aftermarket, maybe call the company for advice or ask how much to repair?

Re: 700amp controller melting wires
I burned the S1 stud of my 36 volt motor with my 700 amp controller with 4 ga wire. jumped to 2ga and a beefier motor and have not had a problem in 3 years .
