A New one on Me
1996 Ez-Go - Coming out of the deer woods with the lights on , Lights got real Bright & the cart got Very Sluggish . A couple of minutes later lights got a little dim & cart started running great . Will act like this with Lights Off also.

I believe that is a voltage regulator issue. My brother's 83 was bogging down. We found a loose wire on the regulator.
I believe it can fail 2 ways. Over voltage, and under voltage. When it fails with an over voltage, it puts a strain on the engine. |
