I live in florida in the winter and go north for the summer, can I leave the charger hooked up or should I disconnect batteries?

Re: charging batteries
I believe the majority of information I have read states always to leave plugged in.
If it were me, I would invest in a dpi accusense charger which trickle charges the batteries 24-7. Standard chargers cycle on once a month or so which is a lot of days in between charging. My .02 |

Re: charging batteries
Thanks to all for replies, it's a club car charger2, 4 batteries @ 12 volts each, just charged batteries reading 49, 50 volts, took a ride up and down the street 5 min. tops and voltage dropped to around 31 volts. batteries are toast I think.

Re: charging batteries
Yup, they are not reaching full charge initially and should not go even close to 31 on flat land...
