Question Belt replacement or BUST!

Tried to replace 89 marathon 244 3pg robin starter belt today. 2 hours later, I gave up! Removed muffler, guard under muffler, including bracket. Removed belt tensioner ( which must have been doing a really good job). Loosened what I thought to be pivot shaft 3/4in. retaining nut. No Dice. Tried to wiggle starter, and no luck. Is the tensioner pushing the starter back, or engine forward? What am I missing, a hidden bolt some where? Help needed big time.

under the starter is the big pivot bolt (3/4") - loosen that then towards the rear of the starter there's a cupped bracket that rests on the starter and has a threaded rod running from it to the engine, if You look on that rod You'll find a nut snugged up against the engine that is holding the starter forward, as you loosen that nut the starter should pivot towards the engine allowing You to get the belt off - reverse the procedure to reinstall and tension the new belt.

Problem found! Starter was siezed to pivot bolt. After 1/2 can of penetrating fluid and a ton of prying it finally broke loose. Guess I'm not going nuts after all. ..Thanks too all you dedicated gear heads and their endless knowledge.
