92 Club Car DS not getting power to solenoid
I'm fairly new to the cart world. This 92 CC was given to me in the condition that it is in now. Not running. Batteries are good. I've done a little research and have determined that I'm not getting any power to the solenoid. What next?

How do you determined the batteries are good?

Re: 92 Club Car DS not getting power to solenoid
The batteries all have good voltage. Between 6.11 and 6.29.

Re: 92 Club Car DS not getting power to solenoid
Just took the solenoid off and did the solenoid test. No continuity when hooked to the batteries. Gonna try a new solenoid and see what happens.

Re: 92 Club Car DS not getting power to solenoid
Okay I know it's been a while but I still need help with this cart. Still no power to the solenoid. Batteries have all been load tested and are good. All microswitches have continuity. Getting power to the controller. New solenoid. Help!

Re: 92 Club Car DS not getting power to solenoid
Your batteries are only at about 85%, but that should not make a difference in your diagnosis.
It's been five months, have you kept the charge on the batteries? What tests have you done so far? |

Re: 92 Club Car DS not getting power to solenoid
I've checked all the microswitches. Checked the key switch. Replaced solenoid. I'm getting full voltage at the controller. No voltage at solenoid. ??

And yes I've been keeping the batteries charged.

Re: 92 Club Car DS not getting power to solenoid
What I haven't heard is if the solenoid clicks or not.
Also does "all the micro switches" include the one in the multi-step V-glide. It should be open with the pedal at rest and close at throttle up. Isolate the blue and green wires to test. . |

Solenoid does not click. Microswitch in vglide is good.
