not re-using the original nut was probably because it is self locking...some blue locktite would have made that a safe bet-imo...

Well I think it's all good to go for the time being. Finally got the rear seat on and everything put back together.
Got it up to the lake last weekend. With a 5 mph speed limit speed isn't really an issue. That's kinda disappointing because it don't feel much difference. I can tell it climbs the hills a tad bit better. Nothing crazy, but better I guess? Would I do it again... ehh I don't know. It doesn't bog down going up hill so that is a plus. I'm definitely glad I replace the leaf springs! For once it don't feel like a low rider when a adult climbs on the back seat. I guess that's it for now. Thanks for all he help!
