Default Ezgo motor noise?

2003 EZGO 36v
Just converted to 48 volt. Just installed XCT500, 2g cables, solenoid and 6-T875 batteries on the stock PDS 36 motor.
I didn't hear this cart run nor have I ridden many carts
Should the motor/rear end be completely silent. I have a sure winding or rubbing noise while moving over 15 mph. Doesn't seem that a brake is dragging.
Is it normal to have some motor noise while in motion? Thanks
