Default 1996 Club Car New Batteries but still will not start

First electric cart. Need some help troubleshooting 48 volt. I put new batteries in last night cart did not move and charged over night and still no movement. I do not here any clicking from the solenoids and I am guess that may be my problem. The cart had been sitting for a while. The first couple time I depressed the pedal I could here a slight spinning noise of some sort but seemed to die off after a few seconds. Cart does roll so I can believe the motor is not locked up. Please any information would be helpful. Diagrams or parts lists would be great. Thanks again Serial number A963-492677

Was able to replace the first solenoid and was able to here the click with the key on. Now my only problem is that it seems to be running at half speed?? When I press the pedal it take 2-3seconds before it takes off, on the flat ground it seems to get up to speed, although it will barely go up any hill. Reverse seems very slow as well. need help! Thanks

The dynamic brake solenoid, the one with the resistor coil, is not closing.

You can either replace it, or jsut remove it from the circuit.

To remove it:
Connect both white cables to the same solenoid big post.
Disconnect the speed sensor 3-pin connector from the end of the motor.
You do not have to disconnect the other wires from the Solenoid.

End result was the yellow wire coming from the pedal pot box, had some corrosion on it and I was able to cut it out and re-splice and the speed came back to the cart. amazing such little thing cause such a big problem.
