Default St sport smoking

I just bought a 2005 st sport it sat for I'm not sure for how long
It started runs good after a few minutes it started to smoke and
The oil light came on

Also new the all this is a st the same as a Stx?

Start by making sure you have oil in it. bout a quart I believe should be full

2005 should have the twin cylinder Robbins. 1 1/2 qts from empty is the correct amount. As long as there is oil on the dipstick that should be enough where the light isn't on.

I replaced the oil it was a little to full to begin with so I drained it cleans the filter refilled
One of the plugs was wet so I cleaned it
I'll get new plugs
The warmer it get the more smoke
No noise from the motor
Robin motor

What's the light looking for ?
Pressure or oil level

Well the light is on for lack of oil pressure and unless there is a problem with the wiring that is not good.

I don't know if robbins has an oil filter but if it does and you didn't change it that causes the light to stay on on a lot of my txt carts stoped up filter not letting pressure flow correctly
