Alright I will hook it up and go for a ride for about 15 min or so and see if it drops tremendously. I live in a private community and we do have a decent amount of hills here. Will that drain then way faster than normal?

I'm pretty sure that is and "I" and it all correlates to a November 2012 battery. Z is the facility it was manufactured at. ("I" was left out from some manufacturers so as not to be mistaken with a "1", but I have had them with "I's" in them) And it is always 2 letters and 1 number with the number designating the year.

Yes it will as it will require more draw from the pack.

Should I have the cart on the charger all the time when not using? Or just when it gets low on charge? Sometimes there are 3-4 days between use.

All the time. After every use. Always. Lead Acid batteries lose capacity and life when they are not recharged right away. Short charges are bad too.

Okay I just didn't know if you could overcharge it or if it would shorten battery life.

It is the exact opposite. You leave it undercharged (sulfate formation and cell deterioration) so by leaving it plugged in all the time it stays charged and will "extend" battery life. The OBC controls this function and the Powerdrive will automatically kick on every ~15 days to top them off. It is always best if it has sat for several days and less then the ~15 day period, to unplug it and then wait a minute and replug it to top the charge off prior to jumping back on it. If you ever lose your OBC and decide to go with a smart charger like a DPI accusense, then it will control the charge cycle and swap over to maintain it with a trickle charge to keep your batteries topped off at all times.

It's been raining here quite a bit lately so I haven't had the chance to take it out for a spin.

Oh, yeah, a "spin" could be literally and figuratively in that weather....
