I remember when I installed a MSD ignition when they first came long long ago, I had similar problems. I used a noise filter it helped a lot but not 100%.

Try powering golf cart radio temporarily with a battery not connected to golf cart electrical system. This will confirm the noise is getting in radio through cart's electrical system (Use battery out of lawnmower)

jhop - Those batts I bought from you I am going to put to use in a cart for my Father.

I'm pretty sure I am going to purchase a battery like this https://www.ruralking.com/battery-motorcycle-0277.html for accessories. I may even remove the 12v converter off of my cart and run a batt like this on it too. This should remove the noise from the radio, and also remove the drain from my main pack.

I remember in my young days, this exact same problem was solved by installing on cars an interference suppressor capacitor as the one below...
