#1 rule is ohms law. Volts plus amps = watts. Higher volts = less amps.
No fuse is needed on the receptacle - Get a auto parts 50 amp fuse and put it on either battery terminal connection

Darn, my old 36 had a thin wire and the 48's has a heavier. I guess that was just something in the designs.....

Many cart chargers have no fused connection. In this case they can also attach to the Alltrax main fuse if it is put on the main - post. Ezgo uses a 50 or 60 amp fuse found in any auto parts store.

That works or you can just use the fuse that came with the Alltrax - see the white (+) charge wire below.

That would be nice if I don't have to wait for the 50amp fuse, but isn't the one that came with it 400amp? I just want to be certain as I'm nervous enough about turning the key on (which could happen today now.)

A high % of all cart chargers are making an un-fused direct connection to the battery pack. I would hook it up, and install your 50a fuse when it gets there.

Also most modern chargers have internal fuses. What charger are you using?
