speed up series ezgo ?
Ok so I picked up a 2003 series ezgo txt. It only goes 9 mph top speed and takes a bit to get up to that on a full charge. I'm not sure of battery age they are Duracell. I planned on putting new batteries in it any ways but want to speed it up.
Thinking about making it into a 48v as I have a good pack of 2014 Trojans sitting. What all needs to be changed out. I'm sure solenoid, controller, fnr switch, and larger gauge cables is a must but what else. Am I missing anything? I didn't state motor as I want to run 48v to the 36v motor obtaining more speed that way as I was told others are doing it. Can this be done safely? |
