Default Make a Cart slower

Yes! You read that right. I know it is backwards to what we all want.

My neighbor's teen grand kids are coming for a visit and he is afraid they will drive too fast in the cart.

This is an EZGO TXT.

I could put a block under the pedal but that would be too obvious.

Could I move the orange wire from the reverse microswitch on forward/reverse switch over to the other microswitch that activates the solenoid?

Would that cause excess in the controller.

That would work. Pack voltage on that orange wire would cut the controller output to half.

Make sure it is active ALL the time not just in F and not R.
Simply run a wire from Battery main 36 (+) to the 1/2 speed reverse wire or terminal.
