Re: Yamaha or EZGO
Thanks for the input. I was thinking that price seemed a tad high, but wasn't sure. I'm in Mobile.

Re: Yamaha or EZGO
So basically 2017 and later would be the quite models? Thanks again for sharing your knowledge. Please let me know if there's anything else I need to know before i spend the $$$$ on a new gas golf cart.

Re: Yamaha or EZGO
Definitely seems high to me too.
You could always pick up a 2014-2016 from a golf course and add the lift, wheels, brush guard or whatever else youd like. I see them all the time for. $2500-3k. End up with a nicer cart and more bells and whistles, while saving a few thousand bucks. And with all that money you saved, you could buy a 402 motor from plowmans, have a beast of a cart, and still be less than what theyee asking for that 2017. Just my .02 |

Re: Yamaha or EZGO
Anything plowman builds you can take to the bank
IF I had one of those EFI carts, I think I would ditch the old motor and switch to his carb'd 402 myself. not only for the obvious 402 reasons, but also due to potential repairs down the road. That EFI stuff works great, and is quite reliable. But when something does break, it's usually big bucks to fix it. old school carb's are cheap and simple. |

Re: Yamaha or EZGO
DO you know if the 402 loses the quietness of the newer motors?

Thanks!! I'm looking forward to buying the Yamaha, as soon as I get my RXV back from the repair shop. Getting the front end worked on, again. Had it lifted 11 months ago and the front end has been jacked up every since. Putting the 4th set of tires on it in less than a year. |
