I have had this Yamaha for 4 years in a campground. Last summer it started smoking and losing power. Fouling the plug. What is the opinion is it worth rebuilding?

My son's G16 started smoking and losing power last year (I think the power issue was due to having a constantly sooted plug). I tore it down, stuck a new set of rings in it and it is up and running good again.

Probably had $100 total if that in the rebuild (Ring set, gasket kit, etc).

That's definitely not a "rebuild", only a repair. But, hey, it got the job done.

Yes, a 'repair'...

Sorry, it was still early. Haha. No intent to mislead..
