2001 Ezgo shuts off after 30min of driving

Thanks again for your help I installed the new sw180 solenoid and so far it works however when putting the golf cart into reverse after it gets warm it would not go into reverse. You could still here the solenoid click so I know that’s not it. I have nothad a problem with that yet and the forward reverse switch is brand new. I installed it The previous owner bought it on amazon and gave it to me still in plastic and still in the box. It is made by 10lol and claims to be heavy duty after reading multiple reviews it looks like it might not be heavy duty. Do I need to buy a new heavy duty forward reverse switch? Or what else would be the problem? I’ve heard that with a heavy duty solenoid you should have a heavy duty forward reverse switch.

The F/R switch is one of the weakest links in the series chain that delivers amps to the motor and with 23" tires a lot of amps are going to be drawn by the motor.

Thanks. I figured that was my best bet. I will be ordering and installing a heavy duty forward reverse switch soon. Hopefully this fixes the new problem.
