no solenoid click
I'm in the middle of installing a complete upgrade package from ScottyB. I have everything wired up but my solenoid is not clicking. I checked the batteries and I'm getting 38V when I check between the batteries. When I check the battery side large terminal on the solenoid I get 38V and then 36V on the controller side large terminal. I saw some about a testing solenoid activation circuit in another post but can't find how to test this activation circuit. Is there a post that shows this anywhere?

Re: no solenoid click
Reed switch - already gone so I connected the key switch directly to the batter main POS
Key switch - working fine. reading 38V on both terminals Pedal switch - Green wire going in is reading 38V but red wire coming out is reading zero when the pedal is pressed down. I'm going to order a replacement switch. In the meantime can I bypass this switch to ensure everything else works and install it in a few days? |

Re: no solenoid click
If it was working before you started I am thinking that you might have the small diode on the small posts of the solenoid backwards.. Stripe should be on the red small wire. This being backwards usually takes out the foot pedal switch
