Default brake drag

I have a 96 cc gas what would be the best why to check for brake drag?

jack up the rear and block it.make sure she is in neutral and spin a tire by hand. if there is any drag it will stop spinning. then i would get someone to work the brake pedal while you spin the tire and see if your brakes are able to recenter themselves after the pedal has been released.if not time for an inspection and probably a little lubrication on the moving parts inside. just be careful and not get anything on the shoes and the inside of the drum. if you do the brakes wont drag anymore but your foot will trying to stop your cart.

thank you wilster for the help.. I am going right straight throw my cart and wanted to check that.. again thank you for the help
