Default compression for 1984 club car gasser

I have been reading a lot of threads about compression and I AM CONFUSED!
Can anyone give me the compression that this 1984 club car stock motor should be?
The compression meter is saying that it is 122psi - is this OK or should i be looking to do something about it?
Thanks !!

I think that the old flathead ran a lower compression than the OHV engines. So I think 122 is good. How does she run? She smoke? Hard to start warm? These questions will help you decide too .......

I did not know what to do to replace muffler on a budget. I found out that u do not need back pressure and that it just quiets things down. I wound up with a muffler asssembly from a Kohler engine (i think) and modified it and all is good - i will try to post pics at some point.....
cheers

SO is it quieter, the same or louder than before. Does it sound better?
