Re: annoying noice
does it resemble a bell ringing along with it....kinda muffled though? Mine was a worn front clutch ( drive ) and had it rebuilt and machined at CPP - Awesome results!

Re: annoying noice
Starter/generator belt loose? Hear it more when it is just starting the engine? Measure the drive belt too.....is it close to an inch?

Re: annoying noice
the starter/generator belt is tight as it can be and for the drive belt its an inch its a brand new belt as well

Re: annoying noice
Put it in service mode and see if you still get the noise.
If you do, to eliminate belt noise as a possibility, try a little water to spray down the belt/pulleys when running in service mode, see if the noise changes or goes away momentarily. If it does, take some fine sand paper (maybe 220) and take the shine off the pulleys. If it is the rubber belt squealing on the smooth polished surface, this trick may make it quit. |

Re: annoying noice
Sounds like you have it narrowed down to the transmission or rear end.......maybe rear brakes dragging?

Re: annoying noice
Jack the rear end up and put it in neutral ( chocking the front wheels of course! ) and see if you can duplicate the noise by spinning the rear tires. Could just be a rust build up on the edge of the drums or something easy......
