newbe with a ?
first off hi i just got my hands on a what i think is a1989 club car 36volt i am new to the golf cart world but the world of modifying and customising cars and trucks this is just smaller scale with that being said the cart i just got has no batteries and i want to make it 48 volts besides batteries what will i need to do this conversion as far as parts and money thanks any info would be a great help

so from what i have read i can put 6 8 volt batt and the 48 volt solenoid for now and go

i would at a minimum replace all cables to 4 gage and i mean all of them, than a HD white rodgers soleniod and a heavy duty F&R swith, this is a controller cart right?............................................ ...

no it has resistor coil not the 5 solenoid set up

thats a whole new ballgame your very limited to beefing up a resistor cart........for any nice speed and torque mods your gonna have to 1st convert to a controller setup and its not gonna be cheap..............................
