The HuntMObile
I purchased a 2002 CC 48v DS series cart back in April 2010 off craigslist from a CC dealer for $900. I had the vision of turning this thing into a hunting buggy. I waited and saved the $$ until August so I would be able to purchase everything at one time. I've been working on it for the past 4 weeks now putting it back together with the limited time I've had. I wanted to show off all the hard work and thank everyone here for all the help answering questions. I specifically wanted to thank Scottyb and OldMec for their help as they were always there to help answer questions when I needed them.
Gotta love the silver spray painted bumpers and side moldings. [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] Looks like it's been through a lot in it's day! [IMG][/IMG] |

Re: The HuntMObile
First day of tear down. Notice the flat tire.
[IMG][/IMG] Batteries didn't appear to be in good shape. I didn't even test them because I had planned to replace them with new anyway. [IMG][/IMG] Doesn't look like it was maintained very well. [IMG][/IMG] |

It sure was a dirty SOB.

Re: The HuntMObile
My best friend and mechanic Ryan was there whenever I needed help or got stumped on something. His boy Aiden had fun this night taking apart the rear axle.
[IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] I'll post the rest tomorrow night when it's all done. They are on my dslr camera and I'm at work right now. |

Re: The HuntMObile
Hat trick, it looks like in the pic of the front end the upright piece of plate that connects the frame to the body it looks like it is cracked. Mine is cracked in that location just above the weld and almost al the way thru. Just was pointing that out.

Re: The HuntMObile
I took my youngest boy for the very first ride today and he was smiling from ear to ear driving down the road. This has been the most fun project I have ever undertaken.
