Default Relocating tow/run switch '03 DS

I'm thinking of relocating my tow/run switch to the area next to the forward/reverse switch or dash. Seems simple in theroy, anyone done so or see a reason not to? I'm just tired of lifting the seat all the time to check.

Relocation shouldnt be a problem EXCEPT BE SURE THAT IT CAN BE PROTECTED FROM WEATHER AND ACCIDENTAL SWITCHING while cart is in operation. Putting it under seat keeps switch from happening at wrong time.

It's not a problem, it'll work fine... but can I ask why?

The problem is that the family often shares the car. Some family members flip the switch and some don't. Our rule is to put the car back in the garage at night and plug in the charger. But, very often I jump in during the day, ready to go and have to get back out and lift the seat and flip the switch. Having it out front would help. (I have a problem with my legs, so jumping in and out is difficult)

Maybe a low profile rocker switch to help avoid the accidential switch while in use? Sounds like that is the main concern. Thanks.

With your reduced mobility it might be easier to TRAIN THE OPERATORS to use the cart correctly. If you move the switch they're still not gonna flip it correctly. I would use a 2x4 to train them.

I like the 2x4 idea, but I should have started on them before they grew so big... These days they might just laugh at me. I know skycraft, have a son who went to FullSail University in Winter Park. In fact he is my resident electronics guy and assistant. Thanks for the feedback.
