Winch Size Needed?

I bought two and one had the cable jump the spool under load and destruct the motor housing so I exchanged that one but so far all three of the remote 3000# camo color HF winches get from me. I wish I had some thing bigger. Mind you I am pulling up a trailer ramp not out of the mud. I can't imagine the thing could be of any use off the pavement

With YOUR money...go get a 10k stall Ramsey winch.That will get er done.

That is funny. What little money I have is the result of a lifetime of watching how I spend what little money I have.

I never have liked the remote winches, the two that I have seen had a delay that I don't like.

anyone have any idea where to get a small snatch block for this hf 3k winch? it has 3/16 dia. wire.

Harbor Frieght has them I believe for under $10.00 as well as smaller snatch straps. Personally, I perfer the sewn loops and clevis verses the straps with hooks.
