Covering radio hole in dash
What are my options for covering what looks to be the radio hole in the stock dash on my EZGO? I've looked everywhere and can't find anything to fit that spot.

Re: Covering radio hole in dash
They make those fancy dash covers that cover up the ball holder/radio hole, they relocate the radio to the drivers side dash compartment...

Re: Covering radio hole in dash
Yeah, I;ve looked at them and the closing glove compartment would be nice, but another $100 or so to cover a hole in the dash - fancy is not how I would describe my cart. Some days I'm happy just to look at it and tell that it is still green under all of the mud :D

Re: Covering radio hole in dash
Could always make your own custom dash cover - good aluminum stock or treated and stained plywood cut to shape and installed cleanly is cheap and covers everything up.
Aluminum stock isn't expensive; provided you have a means of cutting it cleanly. |

Re: Covering radio hole in dash
I got some sheet aluminum from a hobby store, cut it to fit with tin snips and a dremmel and put some switches in it.
(FWIW that space in the dash is called the ball holder) |

Re: Covering radio hole in dash
kernal I like your ideal, but I have a radio in my radio hole, but if I didn't I would use what you have did. In other words I LIKE IT.
