Don that looks great. But that's a little different situation than the Precedent. The issue with a lifted Precedent is the distance between the two clips of the cable. The cable simply isn't long enough to clip in the two locations it needs to clip. It's not the ends of that cable causing the issue. It's the mounting location. Your lengthening bracket would work if you'd do it in combination with adjusting the mounting location of the brake cable behind the cluster by moving it somehow an inch or so forward.

This is a thread I posted back in 2008. It's a short thread where I asked about the same brake pulsation problem as well as lockup with my Precedent.


The Problem... too short of a brake cable on the driver side

The Fix... use a passenger side brake cable on the driver side
