SPM Controller "Pre Charge" error

I just installed a new SPM72400 EXACTLY as described in the manual for 1994+ newer EZGO carts. Eveytime I start the pedal I get the 4 flashes indicating EZGO ITS, then 1 green flash and 6 red flashes which is the error code for "pre-charge failure". Anyone had this issue before?

I came back to say I feel like an idiot. The "pre charge failure" code was flashing because my precharge resistor was bad. It must have gotten fried out when the last controller went south. I replaced it with another and of course everything is working fine now. I have to say I am impressed that the Alltrax shut itself down and would not run without a pre charge resisitor to keep itself safe. I still need to get my cart off the jackstands and actually drive it after I wrap up all my 12 volt circuits but I think I am going to like this SPM controller.

My only irritation, it's as big as shoebox! But I guess that is why it does not even need a heatsink and is waterproof.

I'm getting the same error codes. Where is the pre charge resister located?
