Default Electric motor test

I just purchased a 1992 Ezgo electric that has set for years, is there any way to test the motor without buying 6 batteries.

Thanks

Jack rear wheels of cart off ground and put cart on jack stands.
Jumper A1 to S1
Connect jumper cable from A2 to positive post on 12V battery.
Momentarily touch jumper cable from S2 to negative post on 12V battery. Motor should run!

Yes, I agree. One 12v battery is good enough to test but for testing only.

The reason I suggested a 12V is that everyone has one and if you do this with a 36V pack, it is a quite violent takeoff! ( guess how I know this! ) 12V is much safer!
