Thanks for the help JohnnieB. The red wire to the microswitch unattached itself from the F&R after I parked it. Crazy, but true. I'm still scratching my head.

Ok , I got my hands on a 6 volt charger to try and bring a few of these batteries up to par with the others . The charger has three settings: 2,4, and 6 amps. What would be the correct setting for my needs ?
