Default motor upgrade????

What kind of torque improvement could one expect out of a bandit motor on a stock 94 marathon?? Its not alot of money, prolly gonna ship my stock motor to em in a week or so. Was wondering what to expect....

20% increase on 36 volts over stock, I would suggest doing a running voltage drop test with your cart to make sure your pack is OK (unless you have a new pack).

Hi Robbie, what do you consider an acceptable drop under load?

I wouldn't expect much torque upgrade. Isn't that is a speed upgrade. When ever we have motors rewound for speed we always lose torque.

If Plumquick is officially saying 20% in torque, than you will feel a greater surge when you floor-it but your not going to have your hat fall off. If that is what you want.

Regardless, your going the good route in having Plumquick rewind your motor. I have communicated with both them and D&D. Just from my communications with them I got the feeling they are true to their word. I will choose Plumquick over D&D everyday.

Good luck and let us know how it comes out.
