Throttle locks at full speed
My neighbor has a Textron electric cart, two seats with a flat bed in the back. Great cart, hauls a great load in the bed.
Every so often the throttle goes full speed. The brakes don't hold the cart, the peddle is free moving, nothing stops the cart until you turn it off. This does not happen all of the time but it is very dangerous when it happens. Any suggestions for me to look at? Thanks for your help. |

Re: Throttle locks at full speed
Can you identify the cart better than that?
It's an Ezgo - they used different drive systems over the years. Serial number or manufacture code is even better. |

Re: Throttle locks at full speed
Where would I find the serial number or manufacture code? This cart was purchased used a couple of years ago, he doesn't even know how old it is for sure, he thought late 80's possibly.
Thanks for the help. |
