Default need info on charger

I have a 2010 48 volt ez go with one of the cheap chargers.
My question is will any stand alone charger in 48 volts work if I change the cord ?? is there anything in the new charging system that is difference??
I don't know anything about the new 48 volt system on EZ go's.

Thanks for the information.

You need a standalone type charger NOT a club car charger with an OBC.

We now sell the DPI Accusense chanrger / battery maintainer with the RXV plug on it for just $285
Previously you had to transfer your old cord end onto the new charger. Now you just take it out of the box and plug it in....

Scotty, then there is nothing in the wiring on the new 48 volt txt system that is different from the 36 volt system?? So I can change the cord,( just like the old ones???) On any stand alone charger.

Thanks

The interlock that prevents you from driving while charging probably wont work, other than that, no big problems. If using on RXV, dont buy a high amp charger (higher than 17a), the charge wires and plug terminals are kinda small.
