2016 Precedent Inconsistent Throttle
I've read through a number of posts and think I know the issue but want to make sure before buying parts.
I've got a 2016 Precedent with an Alltrax XCT500 controller, 2G cables, stock motor, PD+ batteries. The cart runs around 30-35mph depending on the level of the ground. I've noticed that when I'm at higher speeds, the cart/ throttle surges. My first Alltrax controller died so I'm on my 2nd one and I never noticed this issue with the first controller. Not suggesting that's necessarily the issue, could just be coincidence. I've checked the settings and the RPM limit is set to 6000 rpm so I doubt I'm coming close to hitting that. I've pushed the cart in forward/revierse and it beeps which I believe confirms the speed sensor is working. I feel like I'm down to the MCOR at this point. I've tried pushing the pedal 30x in neutral to clean the contacts but that hasn't seemed to change anything. Anything I'm missing? I've loaded screenshots from the Alltrax app. |

Re: 2016 Precedent Inconsistent Throttle
Likely the issue is the MCOR signal changing due to "lateral" movement on the accelerator pedal.
You can see that if You enable the throttle linearization and observe the screen while keeping the pedal down. The best way to approach for now is to change the "speed curve" where you now have "99 | 100" to be "95 |100". That way even if the signal is changing a little it will not have any impact on the speed. |

Replaced the MCOR with one from Revolution but no change.

Re: 2016 Precedent Inconsistent Throttle
I have no idea, my mods are listed in the signature. That’s what my phone speedometer says.

Re: 2016 Precedent Inconsistent Throttle
Someone else may chime in but that may be the difference. I asked for max speed and torque for the stock motor when I bought mine and that’s what came on it. No issues since installing it 5 months ago other than this throttle issue
